You are at StarBase Airhart awaiting assignment when the news comes in. The distinguished command staff of the USS-Akira has selected you for a position onboard that famous Intrepid class ship. You are ecstatic, knowing that the ship has a long standing history of exciting battles and detailed exploration. While manning your station the ship goes to Warp but something goes terribly wrong. The engines overload and the ship is now moving at a speed previously thought to be impossible. The next thing you know you are shocked to find that you and your crewmates have been hurtled 300,000 light years from the Alpha quadrant and into another galaxy.

So far during your time there, you have met many new species. The Skedar, the Malachitians, the Nomanarians, and several others. In addition to that a Klingon Bird of Prey has also suffered the same fate and was flung into this star system. You decide to work together in efforts to get back to the Alpha quadrant while still holding to your principals, morals and the prime directive. This is a tall task for any Starfleet Officer let alone a member of the Klingon Defense Force. But you forge ahead into the unknown searching for that one bit of data that will make the difference between making it back home and becoming a member of the Myriad galaxy for the rest of your life.

These are the travels of the crew of the Starship Akira. Whose original mission was to explore the outer realm of the Alpha quadrant, but now its only mission is to find that piece of data and like its sister ship before the USS-Voyager, to find its way home.
