The year is 2383 and the USS Aquinas, a Nova Class Starship, has been refitted with the most advanced equipment available. Three years in the making, the new dedicated weaponry and defensive systems are prototype upgrades installed on the Aquinas using technology brought back by USS Voyager from the Delta Quadrant. Originally the Nova Class was used for scientific surveys and short term research missions, however, the Aquinas and her courageous crew have proven that together they can accomplish the impossible. A testament to their combined forces, they not only survived being tossed 10 years into the future, but returned to save the Federation from complete dominance.
The USS Aquinas is a play-by-chat simulation roleplay set in the Star Trek universe. It meets every Friday evening from 11PM to 12 Midnight Eastern Standard Time in the chat room "USS Aquinas FSF" on the AIM/AOL network.
