Simulation Policies
Atlantis Policy I - Attendance Policy
Each Simmer must send in a notice to the Commanding Officer or Executive Officer each week if they will be unable to post during the week. Emergencies do happen and you should provide the reason for missing your weekly post, however if called away in such a situation e-mail as soon as you return. DO NOT USE THE MESSAGE BOARD FOR SUCH INFORMATION.
To e-mail the Commanding Officer: Please Click here.
Executive Officer Email Address: Please Click here.
Atlantis Policy II - Recruitment Policy
Recruiting From the Atlantis for any non FSF simulation is strictly forbidden. Other FSF simulations may recruit only after receiving permission from the Host. Recruiting for the Atlantis is encouraged, but no negative action will result if you do not recruit.
Atlantis Policy III- Leave of Absence
If you wish to request a Leave of Absence you must e-mail the Commanding Officer and Executive Officer, as well as the Marine Commanding Officer if you are a Marine. The e-mail must contain the following, the date that you would like to start your LOA, the reason for the LOA and the date that you expect to return. LOA's for an indefinite period of time will not be considered unless your LOA is because of a military or similar deployment.
For Questions or Comments contact the Captain by Clicking here. or contact the Executive Officer by Clicking here.
Atlantis Policy IV - Logs
Logs on the Atlantis are not a requirement, they do help towards promotion though.
Policy V - Incident Policy
Incidents are given as warnings to simmers who have "crossed the line" and are becoming disruptive in simulations, or in any Atlantis related area, up to, but not limited to, Message Boards, Mailstring, and other simmers you know exclusively from the Atlantis.
First Incident is merely a written and verbal warning with a list of what went wrong and where, so the simmer knows what actions were considered inappropriate.
Second Incident is a reduction in rank, how far you go down depends on how severe the incident, an incident report will be mailed to the simmer so they know exactly where they went wrong. Second Warning on the same topic as the first incident is instant removal.
Third Incident is removal from the Atlantis, a final incident report will be mailed with your removal report. You have 72 hours to appeal your case before the Commanding Officer and Executive Officer.
For Questions or Comments contact the Captain by Clicking here. or the Executive Officer by Clicking here.
