Plot in Progress: (July 2007):

The crew of the USS Stargazer responded to a distress call from a federation colony located on Scio V. The planet had been plagued by hundreds of strong earthquakes for months. With the planet lacking funds and technology to investigate the cause, the colony fell into chaos.

A platoon of Marines and security personnel were sent in to end the riots and a team of engineers and scientist were sent down to figure out the cause behind the earthquakes. After a series of tests, Ens. Page determined it was due to outdated technology, which had been keeping the crust stable, failed. The crew quickly stepped in to build a replacement and get it online.
